Girl Scouts Become Young Eagles

On Sunday, May 23, 2010, 24 Girl Scouts from Troop 2084 in Sun Prairie flew with pilots of EAA Chapter 93. A warm and sun-filled sky produced smiles from scouts, parents and all who were involved. Special thanks goes out to our pilots: Don Ripp, Jim Sainsbury, Skot Weidemann, Larry Landucci and George Batsche. We also express our gratitude to the staff at the welcome table and flight line who kept things organized, filled out all required documents and took care of our flying guests without a hitch. They were: Patty and Jeff Plantz, Jim Lins, Fred Leidel. Dave Van Lanen and Tobie Stemsta.
